Welcome!  St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Markham is an active community of faith!  Together we are on a journey to discover a living faith.

For most of our life, we work at becoming successful.  We dress up to get a job.  We work long hours to rise up the corporate ladder.  We try to impress a potential mate.  We work hard at being a good parent.  In all of these cases, it’s a process and a journey that requires hard work.  Is this also true when it comes to our connection with God?

The journey of faith requires hard work.  According to the prophet Jeremiah in the Bible, God says to us, “‘Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 29:12-14).

We are all somewhere on the journey of faith.  It will be good if we can travel together.
